To provide rental accommodation in the Ashburton Resource Centre for non profit organizations which provide Community Services to the people of Mid Canterbury.

To foster, promote, facilitate and encourage the provision of Community Services for the people of Mid Canterbury.

The Ashburton Resource Centre is building towards providing a "one stop shop" for local groups and/or individuals within Mid Canterbury to access information on the local welfare/social services which are available in our area.

The Centre is endeavoring to achieve this by providing a local, centralized base where information can be collated, stored and made readily accessible to the public.

We utilize our central location to provide accommodation and basic administrative services to other social service providers.  These administrative services are resources that can be fully utilized by sharing them among other social service agencies and volunteer support groups working around Mid Canterbury.

Our cost effective services allow community groups to concentrate on providing services to the community rather than spending a significant portion of their funding on administration.
